Celebration of young musicians Saturday in Milaca

Milaca Elementary will be hosting a Celebration of Young Musicians Saturday, March 8 at the elementary gym (cafeteria).

Sponsored by the Minnesota Music Educators Association, fourth through sixth grade students from Milaca, St. Cloud, Ogilvie, Princeton, Pequot Lakes and Mora schools will be attending the event.

Students will have the opportunity to work with three clinicians on various aspects of music, including mass choir, Orff instrument, and movement.

At the end of the day, the students will perform a free concert, which is open to the public.

Students were chosen from Milaca Elementary to participate in the program based on their ability to sing and their level of interest and participation in local music programs.

Participating students include Genna Lerud, Rosemary Ash, Rebekah Forker, Lindsey Haman, Danielle Naumann, Jenna Rahm, Alysa Moliter, Christina Hotwagner, Kristina McIntyre, Jenna Carlson, Jessica Thomas, Colin Warren, Marshal Ash, Sam Fassler, Jonah Ellison, Zachery Krotzer, and Bronte Dohm.
