Clifford Mycue

Funeral services for Clifford A. Mycue, 87, of Bogus Brook, were held Monday, March 3 in the Williams-Hanson-Kaun Funeral Home, Princeton, with Chaplain Heather Kittock officiating.

Clifford died in the Milaca Elim Home on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003.

He was born June 2, 1915 in Foreston to Arden and Clara (Schwartz) Mycue. He grew up in Foreston and worked for Charlie Minks in rural Princeton. Clifford married Lydia Minks on August 30, 1940 in Bogus Brook Township. They purchased a farm in Bogus Brook and Clifford continued to farm until the age of 85. He was chairman of District 21 School Board for many years.

Clifford is survived by daughter, Karen Strawder and husband Dan of Merna, Neb.; son, Duane Mycue and wife Ruth of Milaca; grandchildren, Christian and wife Katherine, Kimberly Wills and husband Dean; five great-grandchildren, Emily, Adam, Kevin, Sarah and Lauren; step-grandchildren, Connie Gifford and husband Randy, Jim Strawder and wife Megan; two step-great-grandchildren, Trenton and Michael; brothers and sister, Merton of California, Lowell of Milaca and Marion Erickson of Milaca.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, grandson Thomas, two brothers and four sisters.
