James Huntley
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are David Olson, Jim Matvick, Dick Wilkins, Frank Kosloski, Al Lueck, and Earl Miller. He died Saturday, March 1, 2003 at his home with his wife and daughter at his side following a battle with cancer. Jim was born Aug. 21, 1946 in Princeton to James and Loretta (Walker) Huntley. He married Jan Scherbing on Nov. 26, 1982 in St. Cloud. He worked for Anoka Ready Mix for 25 years, then at Westling Manufacturing for the next three years. For the past 5 1/2 years, Jim has worked for Opportunity Partners in Elk River. He loved to hunt and fish with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Jan; daughter, Karie and husband Jeff Kerfeld of Princeton; brothers and sisters, Clifford Wiedewitsch and wife Yvonne of Princeton, Roger Huntley and wife Arlene of Zimmerman, Karen Tomlinson of Brooklyn Park, Louise and husband Leonard Swartz of Babbit, Della and husband Carl Boehm of Princeton, and Bonnie Maund of Princeton; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
