Spring gardening expo scheduled April 5

Six gardening experts will present seven workshops at the third annual Spring Gardening Expo on Saturday, April 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Ogilvie High School. Registration and refreshments begin at 8:30 a.m.

At 9 a.m. "Landscaping and Using Trees and Shrubs" will be the keynote presentation, followed by one-hour concurrent sessions on organic gardening and container gardening begin at 10:45 a.m.

Following lunch available from the Quamba Crusaders 4-H Club will be concurrent sessions on water gardening and container gardening beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The final concurrent workshops will by on shady plant combinations and lawn care.

Pre-register by calling Jean Tolzman, Ogilvie Community Education at 320-272-5050. Registration fee is $10. Registrations at the door will be accepted.
