George Sengbusch

George William Sengbusch, 86, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at the St. Cloud Veterans Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.
He was born on May 23, 1916 to William and Myrtle (Hayenstein) Sengbusch in Trimont, Minn. After attending school he started trucking. George entered the U.S. Army, serving in France during World War II. He married Lavina Jandl Jan. 26, 1946 in Fairmont, Minn. In 1957 the couple moved to the Milaca area where George continued to truck and farm. In 1967 George became disabled and continued to live on the farm. In January 2003 the couple celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife, Lavina; two sons, Darwin of Milaca and Gary of Billings, Mont.; five grandchildren, Bill, Michelle, Brianne, Holly and Tony; and two brothers, Richard and Donald.
