John Johnson

Funeral services for John K. Johnson, 41, of Minneapolis, were held Saturday, March 15, at the Cremation Society of Minneapolis.

John died March 11, 2003 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born Aug. 25, 1961 to Ruth and Elwood Johnson in St. Louis, Mo. The family later moved to Milaca where he grew up on a farm and graduated from Milaca High School. His energy for life was apparent in all he gave back to the world: his beautiful gardens, creative woodworking, his love to dance, the joy he shared getting together with family and friends and the love he had for his dog, Trixie.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Elwood Johnson.

He is survived by siblings, Bonnie, Linda, Terry, Tim (Deb), Randy (Diana), Debbie (John) Sernett, Sue (Tony) Gephart, Mike (Jill), and Michaela (Merlin); 24 nieces and nephews; his dog, Trixie; other relatives and many special friends.
