Gerald Nohner, 33, of Onamia, pled guilty on Friday, March 7 to possession of meth and unlawful possession of anhydrous ammonia.

Nohner was arrested, along with Dana Lynn Toberman, 32, and Kirt Jerome Wildhirt, Jr., 24, both of Onamia, on Jan. 11 for manufacturing meth in Onamia.

As part of Nohnerís plea agreement, he must give full cooperation and truthful testimony against Toberman (his girlfriend) and Wildhirt.

Nohnerís plea will prevent any further jail or prison time. He has been in Mille Lacs County Jail since his arrest.

The conspiracy charges have been dismissed as part of the agreement and Nohner is no longer looking at a 27-month prison sentence.

He will face probation up to 10 years, chemical dependency evaluation and drug treatment, along with random urinalysis testing. If he tests positive for drugs, he will be back in jail.

In addition, Nohner will no longer be allowed to associate with meth manufacturers or have possession of any precursors to drugs.

Nohner testified under oath in front of Judge Steven Ruble in Mille Lacs County District Court on Friday and if he changes his testimony or lies during the co-defendantís trials, the state has the ability to withdraw the plea agreement and Nohner will go back to jail.

Nohner has been released and he will be sentenced after his co-defendantsí cases go to trial.
