Funeral services for Olga Erickson, 87, of Milaca, were held Monday, June 23, 2003 at the United Methodist Church in Milaca with the Rev. Kevin Dunn officiating. Burial was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton.

She died June 19, 2003 at the Milaca Elim Home.

Olga Mildred Erickson was born on December 21, 1915 to Manny and Anna (Mattila) Oja in Moose Lake, Minn. She attended school, graduating from the Moose Lake High School. She married Mylon Erickson at the Mount Zion Lutheran Church. The couple resided in Minneapolis for several years and in 1963 moved to Burnsville. In 1982 Olga moved to Princeton and later resided in Milaca. She worked for Egevist Bakery and Rosemount Engineering. Olga enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, cooking, canning and reading. She is survived by daughter, Diane Erickson of Foreston; sister, Aili Scott of Federal Way, Wash.; grandchildren, Aaron and Sean Palmer of Minneapolis, and Adrienne Palmer of Willmar; and various nieces and nephews.

Olga was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Elma, Mae and Lil; and brothers, Walt, and Edward.
