Henry Gossen
Music was by Ann Johnson and Marian Katke. Arrangements were with the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca. Henry died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Henry ³Hank² George Gossen was born April 14, 1936 to Francis and Ann (Zulkosky) Gossen near Milaca. The family moved several times over the years, finally settling in the Bock area, where Henry spent his entire life. He married Gail Bergman in 1957. They moved to a farm in 1961 where Henry enjoyed gardening, hunting and mowing lawn. He loved fishing, putting puzzles together, going for rides and playing cribbage with his grandchildren. Henry worked in St.Cloud for 42 years at Frigidaire Manufacturing where he made many friends. He is survived by his wife, Gail; three sons, Bradly and wife Rose of North Dakota, Henry and wife Brenda of Princeton and Charles and wife Cheryl of Rush City; two daughters, Lorraine (Randy) Hopp of Milaca and Lisa (Rick) Graves of Iowa; 12 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty (Ron) Unger of Lincoln, Minn., Irene (James) James of Milaca and Jean Trabant of Anoka; three brothers, Raymond and wife Bertha of Rogers, Francis and wife Delores of Ogilvie, and Jack and wife Marion of Ogilvie; and other relatives and friends. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda; and brother, Louis. Memorials may be sent to the donorıs choice of the diabetes, lung or emphysema foundations. ©Mille Lacs County Times |
