Marxhausen new undersheriff

Mille Lacs County interim undersheriff for Dennis Boser, Alan Marxhausen, will be the undersheriff for incoming sheriff Brent Lindgren beginning Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The sheriff appoints the undersheriff and after interviewing five people for the position, Marxhausen was chosen as undersheriff by Lindgren.
Marxhausen resigned as investigator to become under-sheriff. The county will now hire an investigator to fill that position.
