Budís Bar in Bock has a new owner and the establishment is now called "Fat Jackís."

Beginning Thursday, Dec. 26, Fat Jackís began featuring nude dancers in its back room where adults, 21 and over, can even pay to have a lap dance.

Dancers will be featured six days as week.

According to Bock City Clerk Lynda Sjoberg the bar was notified on the evening of Friday, Dec. 27 that it was in violation of city ordinances.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriffís office was also notified of the violation.

Section four of the cityís ordinance states, "Nudity on the premises of licensed establishments prohibited."

The ordinance is in place to protect and assist the owners, operators, and employees of the establishment, as well as patrons and the public in general, from harm stemming from the physical immediacy and combination of alcohol, nudity and sex.

It goes on to say that a violation is a misdemeanor punishable as provided by law, and is justification for revocation or suspension of any liquor, wine or 3.2 percent malt liquor license or the imposition of a civil penalty under the provisions of Section 29(B) of the ordinance.
