Funeral services for John Steven Reider, 81, of North Branch, formerly of Milaca, were held Thursday, Dec. 26 at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Fr. Charlie Kunkel officiating.

Burial was at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Military honors were provided by Hansen-Hayes Legion Post 178

and Siemers-Hakes VFW Post 17084.

John died Dec. 20, 2002 in North Branch.

He was born Oct. 21, 1921 to John and Ellen (Thompson) Reider. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by his brother, Thomas and nephew, Doug Tidd.
