A boy, Kyle James Ekberg, was born Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, to Jamie and Jennifer Ekberg of Milaca at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital in Princeton.

He weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce.

Grandparents are Ann and Gale Johnson and Irene and Leroy Ekberg, all of Milaca.
