ïEarly photo postcards of Milaca back in the days around 1910 have been discovered in the belongings of Inga Sabo, a former Milaca resident who died seven years ago in Buffalo, New York. The photos were brought to the Times Office recently by relatives of Inga Sabo. The writing on the backs of the cards is in Norwegian.

ïThis yearís senior class play at Milaca is "The Spiral Staircase," a mystery drama. Cast members include Roger Wade, Karen Rosenberg, Brad Timmer, Randy Kragt, Ann Christianson, Robbie Von Ruden, Nancy Ashton and Phil Anderson. Mr. Pfeifer is director and Dawn Beaudoin is student director.

ïMrs. Oktor Mattson, a resident of the Milaca community for the past 70 years, died April 26 at the age of 84. Mary Elizabeth Larson was born Aug. 31, 1886 in Varmland, Sweden and came to the U.S. at the age of one with her parents. She married Oktor Mattson Oct. 31, 1906 in Princeton. She is survived by her husband and six children.
